About ChocoBelly
ChocoBelly is a synbiotic milk chocolate brand built on a stubbornly simple idea: chocolate should taste like chocolate, and it should also be working for your gut. Not one or the other. Both.
Why ChocoBelly exists
The chocolate aisle currently gives you two choices. You can indulge with a premium bar — great taste, but you walk away with 20+ grams of sugar and zero functional benefit. Or you can pick something that "counts as chocolate" — protein bars masquerading as dessert, supplement-coded dark chocolate, products that taste like the wellness aisle they came from.
There hasn't been a real third option: premium milk chocolate deliberately engineered to support gut health without compromising on taste. That's the gap ChocoBelly was built to fill.
The founders
Nat Tubanos
Co-founder & CEONat spent 20 years in brand and culture across Hershey's, Mondelez, and Thorne — long enough to learn exactly how chocolate gets made and exactly how functional foods get made, and to notice the gap nobody was filling. ChocoBelly is the bar she wished existed. She runs brand, sensory standards, and the community we're building around it. Founder of Happy Titan Digital Inc.
Walid Koleilat
Co-founder & COOWalid is the half of ChocoBelly that turns “wouldn't it be great if…” into bars on shelves. He came up through product and engineering, scaling digital systems across analytics, operations, and logistics. At ChocoBelly he runs formulation partnerships, supply chain, and the import-licensing and ops work that gets the bar to your door.
How ChocoBelly is made
We work with experienced chocolate manufacturers who can hold our sensory non-negotiables — real milk chocolate snap, no chalkiness, no protein-bar texture, no synthetic-sweetener taste. The functional ingredients (8–10g of prebiotic fiber, one clinically studied probiotic strain, under 5g of sugar per bar) are dosed to do meaningful work without compromising the things people actually love about chocolate.
The principles we won't compromise
- → The chocolate has to win on taste. If a bar doesn't beat the chocolate you already love in a blind taste test, it doesn't ship. Indulgence-first is not a marketing line; it's the gate.
- → One probiotic strain, dosed properly. No multi-strain marketing blends. The strain we use is heat-stable, shelf-stable, and remains viable through the bar's full shelf life.
- → The numbers stay locked. Sugar under 5g per bar. Fiber at or above 8g. Calories under 190. These aren't aspirational targets — they're the formulation contract.
- → Claims stay defensible. We don't sell mood, focus, sleep, or energy. We sell milk chocolate that supports your gut. The functional ingredients earn their keep quietly.
What's coming after launch
The flagship bar is the foundation. After it launches and stands on its own, ChocoBelly's roadmap looks at cultural probiotic traditions worldwide — Greek yogurt, kefir, kimchi, miso, lassi, sourdough — as inspiration for limited-edition synbiotic flavor drops. The flagship comes first. The world tour comes next.
